Silver-plated and EPNS items come tarnished, (sometimes with worn off silver plate) adding a unique patina to each item. Tarnished Silver-Plated items are more interesting to photograph and are appealing to stylists to use as props. These can be cleaned using cleaning products from the supermarket or hardware store.
